Karl Hipolito is a Toronto-based photographer who started his path to photography growing up in the Philippines with film cameras and mastered the craft before going digital.

Having lived in Singapore and New Zealand before settling permanently in Canada, Karl's photographic eye has always been honed by his interaction with different cultures, travel, people, places, food, monuments, light and seasons.
From the northern lights and wintry fjords of Scandinavia to the world heritage ancient ruins of Cambodia and the urban confluences of world cities like Sydney and New York, Karl's work is a marriage of visual poetry and technical mastery.

His keen eye and this understanding of varying layers at play before capturing an image has also honed his strength for photographing architecture, interiors and spatial design+environment relationships.
